Chakra Clearing Meditation

Welcome to the Alignment Yoga blog. To kick it off, I'd like to share a short meditation that I have created. Yoga teaches us the unity of all things, though often neglects the need for healthy boundaries. The result can be chronic pain, anxiety, difficulty being around others, and a generalized apprehension about change. The solution is not to discard the yoga, but to develop strategies to manage the gift of sensitivity. People are born with a wide range of sensitivities. Some people feel the draft in the restaurant nobody else at the table can feel, smell the smells nobody else registers, or sense the mood of the person across the room. This sensitivity can be a powerful gift, helping the bearer live & work with a healing and nourishing presence. It can also make daily life an exhausting chore.
