The microcosmic orbit is a term/technique that can be found in Qi-Gong practice. This breathing technique involves initiating the inhale at the tailbone, and visualizing drawing the in-breath up the back to the crown of the head. At the crown of the head the exhale begins, and flows down the front of the body and back to the tip of the tailbone.
